Flying Cloud Cafe, Teddington Lock
Upcycled diorama. Created in an old fish tin, this is my original drawing of the cool Flying Cloud Cafe.
This is a hugely popular, seasonal riverside venue, housed in a Silverbullet trailer at Boathouse Studios, Teddington Lock.
The artwork has been layered using paper to build up a 3D picture inside the tin. The background is a handpainted watercolour sky behind a handcut drawing of Teddington Lockbridge. The layout inside varies. Some have planters and there are a variety of coloured chairs. The original ring pull has been riveted into the back of the tin (painted silver) to make it easy to hang.
Each piece is individually made so it will differ slightly from the photograph. Size 10.5cm cm x 6 cm across.
