Teddington Lockhut

Upcycled diorama. Created in an old fish tin, this is my original drawing of the Teddington Lockhut. This was the location for Monty Python's sketch the Fish Slapping Dance. The artwork has been layered using paper on a watercolour background which creates the 3D illusion inside the tin. There is a wire representation of the steel fence that surrounds the hut at the edge of the lock. The original ring pull has been riveted into the back of the tin to make it easy to hang.

Each piece is individually made so it will differ slightly from the photograph. Size 10.8cm x 7.5cm approx.
